Man of Steel | Round 11

Warrington Wolves v Hull KR

Josh Thewlis starred in Warrington’s strong home win in Round 11 and therefore picks up maximum Man of Steel points this week. His team-mate Toby King also marked his 150th Wolves appearance with two fantastic tries and a try assist, so collects two points.

For the Robins, Kelepi Tanginoa continues his phenomenal form and obtains one point.

Leigh Leopards v Salford Red Devils

Playmakers Lachlan Lam and Matt Moylan once again combined to produce a stunning Leigh Leopards victory against their nearest and dearest Salford on Friday. It was also a night to remember for one of Super League's speedsters Josh Charnley, who crossed for two tries including his 300th career try.

Castleford Tigers v St Helens

It’s a clean sweep for St Helens who ran riot at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle in Round 11. Matty Lees emerged as the side’s top tackler with 30 tackles made and takes the full three points. Two try-scorer Jack Welsby then scores two points and Konrad Hurrell, who contributed three terrific try assists, is awarded one point.

Highlights: St Helens go top with try fest against Tigers. 

Huddersfield Giants v Wigan Warriors

Fantastic Bevan French cooked up another marvellous masterclass in Wigan’s win over Huddersfield and scoops up three points. Half-back Harry Smith gets the one point.

Giants’ Esan Marsters is also given two points.

Catalans Dragons v Leeds Rhinos

A trio of Dragons receive Man of Steel points in Round 11 – Arthur Mourgue is awarded three points for a perfect performance in his side's nilling over Leeds Rhinos. Behind him are the two Toms – Tom Davies with two points and Round 11’s top metre maker Tom Johnstone with one point.

London Broncos v Hull FC

The Broncos produced their first Super League win in the capital on Sunday, with James Meadows, Alex Walker, and Hakim Miloudi all key figures.

Meadows and Walker contributed a crucial try each, with Miloudi assisting London’s first try of the afternoon with a brilliant break down the left edge.

They are all deservedly awarded Man of Steel points for their collective efforts.
